About the BodyTalk Association

The International BodyTalk Association (IBA) is a worldwide organization providing vision, tools and training for the future of life science. The IBA was formed in Sarasota, Florida, in 2000 to be the official governing organization for the BodyTalk System and its related modalities. The IBA is responsible for the direction of BodyTalk (Modules 1 - 9), and its family of systems (Mindscape, Breakthrough, FreeFall and PaRama Units 1 & 2); practitioner standards and credentialing; training and scheduling of courses, and of Instructors of the system, and generally working to ensure that the public's best interests are being served with regard to our sessions and educational outreach.

Since the IBA was formed, it has grown exponentially. It is the fastest growing alternative healthcare in history. In just 9 years since it's development, there are now over 75 instructors teaching in 27 different countries with translations in 8 different languages.

Simply put, BodyTalk is not a "new" modality or system. It is a combination of different modalities that work, built into one protocol.

How to let your body talk

It's not just your mouth that talks. Your whole body talks and it speaks volumes about your health.

So says Dr John Veltheim, chiropractor, osteopath, homeopath, doctor of Chinese medicine, theologist, and creator of Body Talk - a "revolutionary new health paradigm for the new century", one that redefines health and healing.

Veltheim was in South Africa last month to conduct Body Talk courses for students who included doctors, nurses, and alternative health practitioners.

He says Body Talk is a form of energy medicine (the newest branch of the orthodox medical tree).

And while Body Talk encompasses western medical expertise, it also draws on the energy dynamics of acupuncture, osteopathic and chiropractic philosophy, the clinical findings of applied kinesiology (muscle testing) and the insights of modern physics and mathematics, says Veltheim.

It is based on the premise that most health problems stem from the body not "talking" to itself - not communicating with organs, and becoming isolated from systems and functions.

Body Talk seeks to re-establish those links or lines of communication, allowing the endocrine (hormonal) system to start working with the organs and synchronise with the brain.

This "balances" the body and creates the conditions so it can do what nature intended - heal itself, says Veltheim.
